Checked out the red 99 model. Would the fact that it has 18inch wheels on it cause the steering to become super heavy and the ride more sensitive to bumps?

It felt heavier turning to the right than to the left. I thought it may have been because of the larger wheel diameter. I've test driven 3 thus far and two have been heavy, one has felt quite light and more manoeuvrable.

Hard to determine without physically driving/seeing the car but it may be caused by multiple things such as - Different tyres on each wheel, Different psi, Out of alignment, Damaged steering/control arm etc.
Majority of the S2K's I've driven have felt light and manoeuvrable like you described, and the ones that didn't ended up being lemons
