if its on the stock ecu, it should be the speed limiter.

A kpro and tune should get rid of that ;]

Tossing up between 215/45/17 or 225/45/17. Stock sussy with 17x7.5 +30 all round

225 may scrub and make car sit too high, but 215 might look slightly stretched. Opinions?

Can also use something like an Apex'i RSM to de-limit iirc

im on 17x8 +35 and on 215/45 and there is tiny bit of stretch, my fronts hit the upper plastic guard if theres a dip, and my rears poke out a tiny bit (sorta mexiflush lol gonna run a little more camber in the back). I am lowered with about 1 1/2 finger gap. I'd imagine if i went 225/45 i'd have some issues.

I had 7.5" and you could barely notice any stretch. There shouldn't be much problem with stock height, but you'll probs need to run some camber in the rear and roll the guards when you start dropping. The fronts are a little more forgiving. As for 225, it shouldn't make your car sit any higher, its just the width not the tyre profile.

225/45 increases diameter a few mm over 215/45. 45 is a percentage of the width. worried itll be mexi as fuk without a drop

Hey CB, did you end up importing your car? If so, who'd you go through? Looking at doing so myself in the near future.

Oh really? The appeal of J Spec is just how easy it is to find cars on there so I was thinking of going through them.

    Neither! Rotary.
