Could you take another photo in better quality? After reviewing the original one it looked like some of the black paint had already come off...
there is a tiny bit where the paint has come off can bearly see it
Agree with Eucalyptus oil, or Tea Tree oil. Alternatively if you want I can get you some adhesive remover swabs from work this week. We use them to remove wound dressings etc. Might work...
this is the badge I just put on hopefully it stays on, can't even see the badge unless up close. Thanks everyone for the advise/suggestions

But to take off residue, I've used a random orbital, medium pad and swirl remover with great success. Doesn't leave marks too.
