Question.. Inspected a s2k park brake light was on(!)< asked the owner and he reckons it's because the brake pads need changing??
I personally reckon it's bullshit.. But maybe I'm wrong..

That was the case for my previous BMWs, don't know if applies to S2K though... Google?

Brake fluid reservoir is low or float is stuck

I don't think s2ks have that 'thing' like BMW but I could be wrong il google and research it!
Still don't understand how the park brake light is on if fluid is low..

It's a combo light, handbrake and brake system indicator.
It's not a brake pad indicator if that's what you're referring to.

    I understand that..
What l mean is when I put the hand brake down the light was still on I asked the owner why and he said its because the pads are worn and when you change the pads then the light will go off when handbrake is down??

I guess the owner could be correct in that the pads are worn and there has been more fluid drawn from the reservoir to compensate for pad thickness - and the light comes on to show the reservoir is low.

Having said that if the car is being maintained on a regular basis the reservoir should be checked and topped up if necessary (or pads replaced).

Putting new pads in would push the reservoir level up and correct the light - but if pads are being changed you'd generally flush the lines so it's a moot point I guess.

Do s2000 tend to burn alot of oil like a b series?

I'm not familiar with b series engines but I need to top up my s2k oil every 5 months or so and I use it as a daily. It's not excessive though, have a golf gti and that tends to consume a lot more.

Geee every five months! I reckon that's pretty good compared to when I had a b series I would have gone through 3+ 5L bottles in 5months!
