    Ep3 stiff gears weird...

Has anyone experienced this before for some reason my gear 5 has this stiff feeling moving into it, it just doesn't feel right its as if it's no lubricated and when you move it into gear it's really slow and stiff any ideas??

Haven't heard of this happening to fifth before. Usually occurs to people's 2nd gear and changing transmission fluid usually sorts the issue out... failing that - synchro.

You think I should just try change the fluids and see what happens

I'd change the fluid and go from there.

How many KM's are you at?

Just look through your posts, for a 2002 if its never had the transmission fluid changed I'd definitely do that first, considering its now been in there for 11 years :-p.

Also whilst searching I'd maybe even consider this for future service intervals.

NOTE because your car is an import , i do hope you changed every single fluid and filter ! Start afresh , you dont know how long these have been sitting in the car...

had something similar before... but it was happening on random gears..

sometime it would get stuck in reverse...

got my transmission fluid re-filled and it helped a little but was still getting random stiff changing into gear... then one day!

BAM!!! my master and sale cylinder was gone!! got it fixed and since then

changing gears hasnt never been so smoothed since then!
