Hey guys looking at buying a ep3. Would you recommend buying for a dealer and if so what are some reputable dealers? or am i better off buying from a private seller.

Where are you located and how much you want to spend?
Looking for something with lower KMS and the interior from pictures doesn't look like the best condition
Have you tried neg on price? there is a facelift one as well. if your looking for low k's and cheap i suggest try IMG, keep in the the k's on the dash might not reflect the acutally k's on the engine as the cluster might have been swap by someone from Japan.

Is there anyway to really be sure the kms shown are really the real kms the engine has done? As it will be my first car bought i don't want to dive into this and make the wrong decision or buy a car which is going to cost me alot due to repairs ect.

No way of telling. All it takes is a simple cluster swap unfortunately.

Not really, I've only heard experiences via members here which got their cars from IMG which comes with warranty, or try the ones are sold here. If your worried about problems mechanically take it a mechanic to get the car look ever first before making a decision.
