Having worked on suspension / DIY and I'm sure alot of guys here DIY - always try and keep clear of the brake area when banging about under there. I try to place a rag or even moist towel on the calipers themselves to absorb some of the nasty dust emitted when you are fiddling around with the suspension and brakes. Take care !
