Might be worth raising your car just so you know you won't have any problems.

Also for the future it might be worth informing your insurance company that you have the suspension on your car, just so you can cover your own behind.

Thats what i was thinking. But my coilovers in the rears. I took out the locking collars so i have to take the spring out and put
the collars back in to adjust it. And if i do that mean I'll have to get an alignment and all that jibber jabber.

I think I'll just have to fork out some money then. Better to be safe than sorry.

Will my rates go up if I tell them I have coilovers? I thought Coilovers arent ADR approved?
Making them an illegal modification. I think only Australian brands like Pedders are ADR Approved.

I got quoted $3,100 for repairs. Thats brand new Boot, Bumper and 1 Light.

For example, when I had my car assessed the things on my car that aren't OEM were dismissed as they weren't seen to be a factor or cause for the accident.

If your coilovers aren't at all a reason for what happened to have happened then you should be alright, but don't take this as a 100%.

To be honest, I'd personally justify the money that you'll spend to get your car back to a stock height just for peace of mind, if for any reason at all.

I'd give your insurer a call and have a quick chat on a theoretical basis to get an idea of what your circumstances are in regards to your coilovers, I wouldn't take the advice of users on a forum.

yep raise the ride height, your not only risking insurance but potentially the cost of repairs to the other car. An alignment is cheap, being broke aint. I had an insurance dude come and look at my Corolla once as part of a claim, turned out he was ex cop & panel beater. I was suprised as **** when he told me the car was a chop job, it was written off, couldnt be registered, he then asked for the original sellers details which I supplied him with.

Good point actually, I'd be careful incase the car that crashed into you somehow claims it was your fault (no real idea how, as they ran into you) due to your ride height you could be running a real risk.

But overall I'd assume you'll be alright as the insurance company will be getting money for your damages, if they were looking at funding your damages I think they might be going over your car with a fine comb.

As you guys have seen in my previous pictures. that shit is wayyyyyy
to low haha

When i go over a little bump my front tow hook touches the ground and makes a REALLY loud
banging noise. shit my pants a few times when i first started doing it.

Pretty sure I've accomplished being the lowest FD in Melbourne

They're not Static. I know the Silver one was on Bags but not sure about the black one.
The black ones wheels are right next to the fenders. Doubt that would be static/Daily Driven
Alot of Agents are VIP Bagged style cars. I've hung out with them a few times. Not my cup of tea
Correct me if I'm wrong though.
