the Rego papers aren't usually right, i've seen some where they are completely wrong.
But the EK4 is heavier than the CRX, but lighter than the EM1.
I've seen the specs from a Blue slip book my mechanic had.

TARE are the most incorrect weights given. If you follow those youll get no where.. in victoria anyway.

Im with Adrian (SPEEDCORE) on this one ...

straight line id say they are very much the same. Your spliting hairs with the weight. 17kg difference is all thrown out of whack when you get a small asian guy weighin 55-60kg and a big aussie/wog weighing 100ish or more

bOng if your tossing up between the 2, just get the one you like the most.
Delsol interior is cosey as shit i loved it ... shits over the EK interior IMO, but EKs styled right, nothing is hotter.. especially if its 99-00 face lift

Well theres also another angle to look at.

I dragged my car when stock and got 3x of 16.2
A friend dragged his EK4, also stock and got 15.6

He is 15kgs lighter than me but so what.
I weighed my car at the Motorplex drag strip on that occasion and it was 1123kgs. The car had everything in it and about 20l of fuel.

go do a survey and ask this question.
"is a Honda Civic a family car or a sports car"
90 out of 100 people u ask on the street will say Family
