DC5R vtec engages but doesnt pull?

hi guys, test drove a dc5r the other day, the steering wheel was really heavy (felt like there was a shortage of power steering fluid or something) and also when i vtec'd it, you could hear it engage (it had a HKS intake) but there was no pull. at first i thought that it was because i was in gear 3 (silly me) but when i tried again in gear 1 still no pull.

    any thoughts about this?

K series cross over is nothing like the b series. Its the cross over where u feel the pull after that it feels normal. Heavy steering wheel is common in the dc5r range. How many DC5r's have you test driven?

Also you will notice other things about that, it feels bigger then what it actually is and the turning circle make it feel that you aren't even driving a Honda lol.

Careful trashing it from 2nd to 3rd, takes time to get used to.

I've driven like 3 dc5rs and this is probably the worse, and I own an ep3 myself but when driving the dc5 (test drove for a friend since he doesn't know how to drive manual) the vtec pull was nothing compared to the cars I've driven previously.

All in all doesn't really matter since the car just sold LOL
