I've seen it written time and again the s2000 isn't the fastest in a straight line or round the corners but overall it's been in the top 10 car choices many many times over the last 14 yrs.
It's about enjoying driving top down, vtec, rear wheel drive, stiff chassis, excellent road feedback, great turn in etc etc. It isn't perfect but tell me another car sub 60k that does all this any better? I want a car that I have to drive not a car with a computer that takes control.
I've had v8s,turbo sixes,4x4, 5cyl turbo, been in a 950hp gtr but nothing compares to a run thru the twisties with the top down listening to the vtec sing. (Unless it was an s2000 turbo or SC)

Definitely gives me something to think about.
I did drive a new GTI golf too and don't think I can justify the price.
You'd hope it be fast, 3.7L after all...
Golf GTi is a FF hot hatch, compare it to cars of its ilk like Reno Clio RS, Reno Megane RS, Focus XR5/RS, etc...

I thought he meant he wanted a "quick car", now i realise he means he needs it soon.
srry for any confusion i have been causing.
definitely, an 86 is a option if you need something soon, theres so many around. i must see 3 a day an i only drive for about 30mins a day (in perth which is quite behind the times)
so over east there must be a good one around.

Just had a look at the one in VIC with 109kms. Front end collision repairs just looked at it.

any opinion of this?; it has passenger side wheel arch damage as mentioned by the owner
130000km; thinking of buying it if he drops the price more, is it really 300 dollars to fix as he describes?
