The F20 sits very nicely in the engine bay. It's almost as if it was meant to be?
As the radiator inlets and outlets are on the opposite sides of the 4AGE, the AE86 Koyo alloy radiator needed to be modified. Here it was flipped around, new ports made, the tabs extended and new mounts fabricated.
The shifter position sits quite nice. Just a few centimetres needed to be trimmed off the transmission tunnel as the S2K box sits just slightly back.

The vehicle is designed predominantly for street use, so a lot of consideration has been taken in to account for this.
JSP Fabrication mounts from the USA were used for the engine and gearbox
The motor itself is from an 'AP2' with electronic throttle, so an AP1 intake manifold has been used for a traditional cable throttle body. The throttle cable was custom made to suit the car.
Our friends in the USA can use off-the-shelf (or even standard) headers as their vehicles are LHD. With cars in Australia being RHD, the steering column leaves very little room for extractors.
What we did was use aftermarket headers and modify them to clear the very few inches between the chassis and steering shaft.
