HAHA yes it is a 'tounge-in-cheek' name.. and we don't take ourselves too seriously like some other businesses
Like many words in Japanese, the word has a few meanings. The main meaning is for an outsider/foreigner/alien to the Japanese citizens.
In Japan we are ALL considered gaijins, the negative context is pronounced slightly differently 'Gai-Jin!' when you behave like an idiot, when compared to 'Gaijin' in the normal reference. We tested the name with some Japanese including Mr Ichishima who gave it his thumbs up
