Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus and bluetooth.?

I have 2012 Honda Civic 9th Gen VTi-L from Japan.

Does anyone know if Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus will pair via bluetooth.

I wanted to check as my current phone Sony Experia Mini connects and disconnects, nothing I can do about. I have spoken to Honda Service in past.

it'd say it's your phone being the problematic one

try with someone else's phone. it's not a phone model specific issue

Honda says it's not supported. You would think being a standard connectivity method it should work.

Like curtis mentioned, try another phone.
Otherwise, it's most likely a dodgy initial pairing of the phone to the car, or a dodgy phone. It seems like a pretty common issue regardless of car manufacturer and is usually a problem with the phone.

To fix it, you could try:
-Using your phone, unpair the BT connection. Wait a few seconds, and pair it again. (Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't count as unpairing)
-Factory reset your phone (you'll lose your data on your phone)
-Flash/update a different firmware on your phone and then factory reset via recovery mode.

I think what they may have meant is that the Xperia Mini only supports BT v2.1, so certain BT functions might not be available, compared to a Galaxy Ace Plus which is v3.0, which will support more BT functions.

    Update.

Picked up the phone. Very happy with it. Main thing I wanted was hands free, this works well. Way better than my old Sony Xperia Mini with exception I like it's slide out keyboard.

With music I can't see any tack information on the car's display. It might be designed this way. I need to look further into this. I may for example need to select song from phone.

Here's a useful link to check if phone is compatible.
