So, This is how my weekend went.. Picked up some 17" Gram Light 57s
Super cheap. Picked it up on the same day ad was posted up.
Had to raise the front 15mm. Front wheel wouldnt turn at all. Popped my right guard on the way home -.-
Looks fkn sweet as, what are the specs on the rims?
What battery recommended for our cars?
17x8.5+30 - 215/40
17x9.5+38 - 215/45
Offset is a bit high but in person the poke is awesome. Glad my didnt go
lower offset otherwise i would have to spend more money rolling my guards & ect. ect. ect.
Im using an Optima Yellow Top. Dry Cell.
Not really necessary but my standard battery that came with the car couldnt handle my sound system
so i had to get something with alot more power.
Shit thing about Dry Cells is that you CANNOT jumpstart a car lol
But the battery lasts ages. Left my acc on at a party with music pumping for a few hours and next day
car started up first go.
Stock guards. Natural Camber. Stiff Coilovers.
Only thing I did with my previous wheels was to cut a whole in a plastic liner
covering the fuel line and then taping it up with heavy duty tape.
Surprised natural camber is good enough, you're pretty low too.
Yeah just bought a century battery with higher CCA, my OEM battery failed 3 battery test so thought id be better safe than sorry.
Yeah. Rears JUST makes it. Got about a finger between guard and rim. I had 225/45 that came with the rims.
Rear guards didnt enjoy them at all. Had to put 215/45 on the back. Awesome stretch.
Whats wrong with all your FDs? LOL
Mines an FD2 with K&N SRI and catback exhaust and $10 of BP Ultimate (3-4 Bars)
can get me about 130km and thats me giving it a little beating from time to time.
I did a full tank last week and got little under 500km (All freeway)

im tempted to change my tyres back to 215/45 cause 215/40 i got dicked by cops cause they didnt like the stretch on it. gotta see down the track ><
