							Question:

If 1 of my rear license plate bulbs keeps burning out. Is that a short?

And would it be due to the fact I'm using LED lights (less resistance)? 1 seems fine, but 2 bulbs have busted on the other now, they work for a while, then just blow.

If it's a short, how abouts do I go finding where it may be coming from? thanks!

Planning on keeping the OEM Headunit?
If so, And you want more bass then get a Amp + Sub.
Since out headunit does not have output RCAs you will need a low level converter.
Some amps have them built in, Making life alot easier but you can just pick up a branded one for about $100

If you plan on changing the headunit then wait and do it all at once. Saves money and time

Yeah, gonna keep the head unit. Is that a big job to fit an aftermarket one anyway?

Amp and sub sounds good. I don't want ear melting bass... Just some more oomph. Would a head unit change give me that much extra bass with the stock speakers??

I remember when I first joined here there was a stereo cheat where you held down/pushed certain and it made the stock system bump more. Anyone remember what it was??? Cause since then I've had the battery replaced and doesn't that reset all settings?

So many questions. Sozzy. Lol

Changing the headunit alone without a sub will not make the stock speakers pump out more bass.
You might get a bit better sound quality but not more bass. If you're not a massive basshead then I would recommend something around the 600w RAMs range.
Most amps have a Sub control now anyways. You can adjust the bass like the volume knob

If you buy an OEM fascia kit, it's a pretty straight forward job to switch the head unit around - a couple of hours, tops. eBay kits are luck of the draw. Some of them fit well, some of them don't.
Upgrading the head unit will give you an overall cleaner signal and delivery of sound. Bass will sound a lot better, and you'll be able to adjust more bass settings. For example, on my stock unit, I had bass turned up to +4, volume on 8 to 12, and when I played a bassy track like Markus Schulz - Love Rain Down, I could hear the speakers popping and bass sounding like balls.
I replaced it with a $200 head unit and the output was so much better at similar volumes. There were more bass customisations and it allowed me to really enjoy my music more.
In saying that though, if you turn it up really really loud (equivalent to volume 15-20 on stock), it's going to struggle, and that's when you'll need a sub.

If you're only out to achieve louder bass, but not cleaner bass, go for the sub.
Otherwise, upgraded head unit is best bang for buck as it improves overall sound quality.
