Congrats on the buy, didn't realise red looked so nice.

Regarding the bodykit, I got quoted 2200 for boot spoiler, rear skirt, side skirts and front lip. This is for AM parts though which Honda would have gotten to spray and fit. OEM is pretty expensive and according to the sales guy, the AM looked just as good.

I've seen an AM kit without boot spoiler sell for around $700 without painting and fitting. This could well be different from the AM kit Honda is selling though.

    Gotta love those heated seats!

Typical of dealers. One Honda dealer in Brisbane also tried to rip me off by offering to sell accessories at cost price instead of giving me further discount on the car. He then proceeded to pull out a price list of accessories claiming that the prices are cost price. Obviously, I knew it's a load of horse crap because it definitely said RRP on the sheet. I told him that that's not their cost price and no business would show a list of their cost price to their customers, but he insisted that it is the cost price. Of course, they didn't get my business and I went elsewhere.
Shame that you gave your hard earned cash to lying SOBs.

When I bought my euro I just negotiated as a full price inclusive of the extras rather than break it down.

I never asked them what the bodykit and tint was worth. I just said give me your best price with bodykit and tint and negotiated that way.

I was happy with the end result.

There will be another milano red one on the road next week too.
Picking up mine soon. Essendon area.
I might be the only person ever to trade in a euro manual luxury for a euro auto luxury.

Sorry to be off topic a bit.
What makes you want to change from manual to auto? Don't you like the 6 speed box in Euro?

I guess with the new colour and much more relaxed left leg and left hand, the extra dollars you paid are worthwhile.

I sold my manual luxury model because of the drive by wire throttle. Others don't find it an issue but I simply couldn't drive it smoothly in the bumper to bumper traffic I live in each day. I was sure the creaking clutch was going to wear out fast because I was tending to use it a lot to smooth out the drive.
If Honda themselves think it's not an issue then there was no hope of getting it fixed either.

But since that was the only problem I had with the car, it seemed smart to get another Euro and live with the reduction in acceleration. Can't comment on delivery times for a new car order. If you don't mind taking any colour you can usually get one within a week if you use a broker. Ordering one might still take 6 weeks like it used to if you walk into a dealer.

Back on topic, the Milano Red and the new wheels look good. I am looking forward to taking it up from the Westgate freeway to the Bolte bridge and seeing where the steering lightens up and it loses poise. The '04 Euro starts to lose poise at 90Km/h on that 270' curve. (not looking for top speed, just feel) The '05 and the new wheels and suspension changes should improve it.

6 weeks delivery time is a total BS and unacceptable in my books anyway.
Mine took just over a week and it came straight off the boat.
August 2004 build and I got it in September.

$2200 is damn good! Is the kit as good as OEM? Just for the sideskirts and the underlip they reckon will cost 4 grand, does this seem normal? I guess they are talking front and rear underspoilers? Anyone know?

I can't do without my heated seats, been damn cold here in Melbourne, especially at night! Warms up the tush in no time

I tried to do that but the assured me it would put the price of the Euro over 50K which they said would mean extra tax and some other BS, is there a 50K and over cost situation that anyone knows about?
