So the front bar doesn't fit well, is that what youre saying? Is your mate's stock exhaust the same as the chrome one on fd2?

Also do you lower your car with springs or coilovers? Heard springs blow your shocks. Any ideas? I'm thinking of getting mugen RR kit since it looks lower than type R kit. Would the RR kit look okay on stock heights?

He had an xforce aftermarket exhaust. I'm sure stock will be fine. It seems the type R kit has gone down in price, pretty sure they were like 1.5k a year or 2 ago I forget. Reason why I go for Mugen lip or Mugen RR, is that Type R is too similar to stock, need to be more unique vs. the heaps of stock sedans driving around. If you look at my build thread, that's on stock height. Tbh, although it looks better lowered, many people ask me if my car is lowered.. same as my other buddy who has a RR kit, seems to make the car look lower.

And.. coils always. From what I've been told. I'm staying stock for now, too many dips around my place (e.g. my drive way) .

Stock height looks alright aye. Got any more photos? Where did you get that kit from. Fits well? How much was it? I got a quote for $1000 without wing from OTR. Waiting on your wing :P

Just get the kit from OTR, I trust them as me and my mates ordered from them

I bought my type R kit from jdmyard for 950 posted to melb at the end of year sale.
For the front you just need to cut off a bit off each side of the reinforcement bar to fit it. like 2-3cm i think
and for the rear, its best to get an aftermarket exhaust thats single tip. If you cant afford to do that now, you can just go to an exhaust shop and ask them to cut the inner tip off and weld the hole it so it becomes a single tip.
That option would cost like 30 bucks or less

So OTR just replied with this.

Forgot to mention, in order to fit the Mugen
RR front bumper bar, your stock front bumper support beam will have to be
remove due to it's different front bumper

Any ideas?

I'm gonna remove it eventually haha.

Mugen full lip kit from OTR for $550 delivered.
Mugen RR full kit plus wing $950 delivered from melb. (btw, not sure why OTR had to remove the front bar, my RR was straight bolt on, no problems.)

Both arrived on my door step within 3 business days. So pretty darn good.

I'll give you wing $200. Other buyer has delayed replies.

How on earth did you get it for $950 with wing. They quoted me 1000 without wing. Btw, clean your inbox please?
