Most would be hard pressed to find a clean low km one for 23k now. High km ones are around those prices atm

suits me well, when looking to buy everyone wishes they were cheaper but when you own one and see others sell at like 16,000$ you see that they are devaluing everyone elses car.
these cars a rare they should be aloud to fetch into the 25grand mark if its decent, more if its good. AP2 more than that obviously

The way i see it, no one in their right minds would offer me what my car is worth (to me). The enjoyment I get from it is priceless and I'm at a point in life where I don't 'need' an extra 20k or whatever.

It sits in my garage and takes me out on the occasional spirited drive and gives me a grin no amount of money could replace.

    I disagree.

Part of my enjoyment is knowing I put it together.

An R35 comes preassembled. Where's the fun in that?

On one end of the spectrum there 'bolt on parts'. On the other there is 'put it together'.

I have rebuilt the engine and diff, added a supercharger then a turbo, replaced and tuned the ECU. Engine is running aftermarket MAP, injectors, FPR, throttle body and other parts too numerous to mention. Only part of the drivetrain untouched is the gearbox and I am building up a spare.

I'll leave it up to others to decide where I sit on the spectrum but I feel it's a tad towards the latter.

    nice mun

did you rebuilt it yourself? diy definitely adds alot of sentimental value instead of dollar value.
doesnt matter anyway, as long as you love your car.
