My first Honda is a Euro

After months of searching I finally brought home a MY12 Euro Luxury on Friday. Am super impressed so far. I'm coming from 12 years of Mercedes and am very impressed with the Euro. Loving the manual gearbox, the build quality, the premium sound system, the interior layout, the Xenons, the leather wheel. The 2.4 just loves to rev and I'm still figuring it out in terms of how to get the most from it. No doubts that I made a great choice, it's excellent value and hopefully will last me at least another 5 years.

    congrats!

Hondas seem to be good cars, treat them and maintain them well and they go forever (give or take)

Ok so I spent all weekend going through the car front to back, top to bottom.
    - full vacuum and inspection
    - remove dealer decals, plate frames etc
    - check tyre pressure, nuts
    - full wash and wax
    - leather conditioner
    - protectant on hard surfaces
    - tar and bugged where necessary
    - set all memory functions, audio, clock etc
There's very few blemishes on both interior and exterior. Still grinning. Can't stop driving it!!!
Only thing I cant work out is how to set the auto-door lock, will keep trying. Some pics attached.

If you plan to keep it for awhile and have trouble free motoring, I would look at doing a tranny service at every 30k - 40k. I personally do a complete tranny service once a year due to the kms I do and I don't want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Mine is a Manual Transmission - are you saying I should have a manual tranny serviced every 30-40k?

Beautiful car! That's probably the rarest colour you have, when we bought ours we considered it but bought pearl white instead. The manual is brilliant, doesn't need to be serviced like the auto.Mines done 54k still love it, only want to add an integrated sat nav/reverse cam.

Cheers all. Yes I love the pearl white too - but this one came up and I jumped on it.
