what is your next mod guys?
My one is "Folding LED Mirror (Auto Power)". maybe nothing special to you, but it's good for me ;-)
i'm gonna DIY this one, get quoted $250 to install so better DIY to save for something else
@LetDuDiss: you mentioned about making windows close automatically when lock the car like the euros. could you tell me how to do? i want to do both jobs at the same time. Thank man

We do. However, FD1 and FD2 VTEC are different. I assume your car is FD1 with R18 so VTEC hit around 3.5k rpm where as K20Z hit VTEC around 5k rpm. R18 VTEC is designed for fuel economy so I wouldn't be surprised if you can't feel its crossover. For your car, you would be hitting it everyday anyway LOL

For the R18, from what I understand, it's more like i-VTEC / Fuel Economy mode up until 3.5K RPM, then it's non-fuel economy mode after that.

LOL I don't know how to do it, that's why I asked you in the first place. My guess would be modifying the relay box to automatically control the window just like the driver side's mirror and add another circuit to activate the windows when the lock engages. You would also have to rewire the power window circuit so that it still have power after you turned your car off.

Since you have the auto folding mirror, you can use that circuit to activate your windows. So it would be easier if you had your mirror installed first then having your windows modified.

I'm not sure how to do it LOL but that's my guess based on engineering logic LOL. Would be interested in DIYing one. Haven't had time yet LOL

Yeah, so I don't think cross over on R18 is that obvious. It's not really obvious for K20z anyway

yeh

and it only engages stingy mode when ur on light throttle so you'll only hear it when u mash the throttle from light to heavy within the 'window'

I've never noticed it, heck it's hard enough to notice on my S with the vtak at 4000

hey guys, who has HID's here? Looking for a kit atm, and suggestions? I've heard that ebay kits are pretty bad and blow a bulb sometimes or something like that

I've got the eBay one that's one piece with ballast and bulb. In my opinion it's very good. Excellent visibility on the road.

I had a kaixen one, was great for me but not for others lel

If you do, get a good quality one, i had an ebay kit for fog lights and the cunce kept blowing every second day

they'd also turn off randomly

you get what you pay for.

Well that explains a lot then. My FD gets happy after 3.5K RPM. Anything less than that, I feel like I'm in a Camry.

i've noticed that when i slam the accelerator in a certain 'window', the response of the car feels almost immediate. In other windows when i slam the accelerator, it's like lag lag lag lag lag BWAAAHHH...

Andrew from ZED. I got my kit off him about two years ago and never failed.

All that noise and it barely pulled away from my mums Corolla untill top end.
Mums corolla beats the civic if it was a complete stop race.
