    Bxx into Nicole help!!!

    hey guys... to start off with i did search.. and i think i ve seen the info somewhere... but just cant find it....
    i ve been thinking alot latelly abt doin a conversion
    either b16a/b or a b18c7 but i just need some more info on $$$$$$ and wat exactly i need? will i been needing the hole half cut?
    and i m not aiming for straight line performance... more like for circuit .. ie. a more balanced car.... i just want more power then wat i have now...

    go a B18C7 swap. the extra torque and power will come in handy round the circuit.
    definately get a half cut as it'll save a lot of greif trying to track down parts.
    as for $$. you can get 96 spec cuts for ~$4-5k if you are prepared to do a little searching. then whatever for labour. around the $1-1.5k ballpark i guess

    with regards to DIY, has anyone done this?

    how much did it cost them for a DIY B16 (ie. no labour)

    |N|: 7k installed is what I was quoted at GPC. I'm not 100% sure but lets just put it at $7500 to be safe.

    That included everything you would need - brakes, engineers certificate, exhaust, all fluids etc! It's basically drive in and drive away with 10,000/6 months warranty.

    Hi S3ph, it was for the B18.

    The full package for the B16 was around $5800 as far as I can remember.

    I remembered the B16A was JDM but I'm not exactly sure on the B18.

    all your need is engine/box/loom/ecu. mounts. shift linkage and drive shafts.

    remember to do a full service on the engine while its out of the car. makes it a whole lot easier

    $5800 really? is this the price charlie quoted.
