    Hey guys thanks for the advice. I did manage to get it off quite easily. I used a bolt from the power steering which fitted perfectly and also sprayed some wd40 on before hand. Came out after 4-5 hits with a hammer

    As for the control arm, I found a video that suggests doing it like this:


    It seems simple enough.

    I havnt had time to do this yet, but was planning to do it tomorrow. Has anyone done it this way before?

    I have been making and selling these for a couple of years now. They make quick work of the most stubborn pins. I can ship worldwide.

    I feel car sick after watching that

    I've used that method (I think I used some 20 x 10 flat bar instead of trashing a socket extension). It still didn't work on one of the ball joints no matter what I did. Ended up having to remove the whole LCA / knuckle assembly and cutting the ball joint out, then pressing the taper section out on a 30 tonne press. When it let go, it did it with a huge bang - scared the crap out of everyone in the workshop.
