Do you mean what is the lowest RPM at which VTEC will engage on a stock car?

If the engine is stock there's not need to alter it, has been optimised from the factory. If modified for more power with bigger cams then it could be beneficial but wouldn't be set any earlier in the rev range.

If you are talking about the earliest vtec crossover point in all stock honda car, that will be integra vti-r which is 4400rpm, but if you are talking about the lowest point that a vtec can activate, it should be 3000rpm..... but you will wreck the vtec valve i think. Just get a VAFC and have a try, you will get beaten by any non-vtec honda's

i was reading the manual on my dads 04 jazz, and it says VTEC kicks in fully before 3000 rpm, so i dont no if it would be the same for your car

I thought the question was quite obviess.. and some ppl answered it thanks fly vti and Proecu... and the question implied that there will be an aftermarket ecu installed, And if were talking SPECIFIC'S then ( i think... and Honda jazz's..( No Offence ) should be left out of the thread... i cant tune a car on estimations.

'HEY dude, no need to be smart were only helping. as for the 'BEST ECU' you can find many related topics on this using the 'Search' button, its a common subject eg: hondata ecu. as for vtec engagment points, earliest i know is 4k rpm.
