I personally surgested swaping to a more lively stock engine/gearbox as I assumed that this is a car you intend on driving daily and at a fairly significant distance since you live in whoop whoop and since the stock engine is over 300,000km a newer lower km unit might be more reliable long term, that being said if your a baller and don't give no fuks then yeah a close ratio gear set and higher final drive without a full rebuild is an option.
