Actually, I know quite a few people who've sacrificed the VTEC to get black, I would sacrifice it, but I can't even find a black non-vtec EM let alone a vtec one.

Seems like, once people got em, they won't sell them.

wow, is that all you get from a turbo wrx??? i get over 150kw at the fly on my 1.6!
but i guess it's the torque that your engine makes, which would be about 350nm??

yeh conservative tune though..anythin over 200kwatw and i will need to get a heavy duty clutch cos the clutch is the wrx's weak point.

150 kw @ fly is like 110 kwatw? also it depends what dyno ur usin, i got mine done @ AVO which isnt a "happy dyno" so to speak

    p.s. 175atwkw @ 14psi or rougly 220kw @ fly

uhhh i will try and find my dyno graph, but torque has increased alot from stock..turbo kicks in at around 2.5k rpm and maxxes @ about 370nM

hehe, that doesnt sound right. You have the money/finance to buy a 05 rex but you dont have the money for fuel? should of sold your wrx and got a fast sports car which doesnt use as much fuel as wrx... eg. type r or even type s

type R? no thnx, apart from the vtec F1 sound theyre nutin compared to a turbo in terms of straight line acceleration....but handling is better around the twisties? anyhow yeh i shouldve planned my finances better in regards to fuel, maintenance, insurance etc...who cares - got my civic now so its the daily driver no worries bout the fuel or insurance!

    Welcome to the forum!!
No wonder you say you are new to NA
    I saw a 2L type-R wasted a R34 GTT in a straight line....though I have to say, that's wasn't ur 'NORMAL' type-R
