be gentle nah petrol stations have some shit where you're not supposed to just push it in the whole way, have it so it just sits there should be like horizontal the handle that is and should fill normally, it clicks cos you've put the pump in too much
when i do it i go 3/4 of the way and then i have my back facing the car and i face the bowser. im not sure why but im guessing its how im putting pressure onto the lever, but it works all the time. i would get times where i would get click click click... then i would turn around and it would be fine. wierd.

come to think of it.. i dont notice that i do this now untill u brought it up coz ive been doin it for 3 years.
spin it around and hold it upside down
the only way i can do it without it clicking 389468734 times
