    honda Au only uses 3 types of filters, two of em are blue as the cartridge one is yellow-brownish

    i went to ultra tune today and asked them..they told me honda chucked in a after market OIL filter on my car

    but i thought the dealers must only use genuine honda oil filters? can they put aftermarket filters on our cars?

    called them and left a message for them to call back

    they just called back and said it's a genuine honda product
    HAMP stands for Honda After Market Product

    they said they hve 2 lines of oil filters, blue and green.

    huh? so whats the difference between the green HAMP and the stock blue one?
