    Part Number Request for EG

    Hey all,

Trying to source a part for my EG hatch but I have no idea of the part number or description I should give when ordering from Honda. I'm after the plugs on either side of the top half of the rear hatch (they're in the bottom corners of the glass part) which connect the support struts to the body.

I'm after both sides cos one of mine has had the thread stripped out too badly to re-tap and the other one's bent out of square so the hatch doesn't quite close properly.

Hope thats clear enough. Any ideas of part number, description and cost would be much appreciated.

    Cheers, Cap.

Thanks for that, tried calling the spares department at a few Honda dealers but they had no idea what I was talking about.. not surprising though, one of the guys I talked to would have been about 8 when my car was built..

Hey sdewyz, can you give me the part descriptions that go with those part numbers?

I'm guessing that the three pieces are the outer plug with the threaded section, the rubber washer and the backing plate that goes on the inside of the window.. is that right? Just want to be sure before I go ahead and order.

Also, is there any way that someone who doesn't work for Honda can search the complete spares list to get part numbers and descriptions, like a website or something?

    Cheers, Cap.

Just would like to add that I bought 2 sets of these today from Prahran Honda.

The pricing was excellent, compared to other city dealerships.

    90101SR3000 - Nut, O/Stay LWR I - $10.49 per
    90105SR3000 - Seal, T/Gate O/S A - $1.59 per
    90106SR3000 - Spacer, T/Gate O S - $2.49 per

Cost me $32.00 all up They had all parts except for one of the nuts in stock, which they got in overnight.

Just wanna point out again the brilliant prices. I called up 4 Honda dealers in the inner Melbourne area and they had the best price.

The worse price I got however was from Essendon North Honda. They wanted $36.70 for a single set, which would have been $75.40 all up for both sets.

How can they justify the cost, when other dealers offer the same parts for both sets at a lower cost than it was to buy 1 set from Essendon? Talk about extortion.

Anyways, got myself little Honda baggies with Honda genuine parts stamped all over it and gonna replace the plugs tonight.

    Just my little story.
