    Umm - B16A has different mounts to a ZC when it goes into a Si 2rd gen CRX. The EF8 SiR CRX and EF9 Civic are a complete rework from the firewall forward. The crossmembers wont bolt into any other EF (or Aussie ED) etc. So you need the Place or Hasport custom mounts.

    early tegs (rover) have D16a3
    Aus spec CRX has D16a8 (similar to zc etc etc)

    check near gearbox/exhaust manifold for engine code

    yes, it will fit, but you need custom mounts etc...

    B16a should, the mounts are OEM, shouldn't be hard to buy
    If it is a second generation CRX, then the mounts are not custom, they are OEM, since they had the B16a's in them in Japan, So I don't see how they would need to be custom

    Good mate of mine did the conversion last year with a JDM SiR halfcut and used the engine mounts from the halfcut.

    using stock mounts?

    and I said second gen anyways, but no prob, just be careful before you try and slam people. I will always think I am wrong if you do, then get confused

    hey i am SELLING a b16a that will bolt in mate!

    plus a wiring loom and ecu and everything you will need for the conversion - i can even fit it for you!!!

    but i woudl be interested to hear Setana's veiws as well... cause i still think he might be right about the mounts.

    Hmm, I was pretty sure we used the standard mounts. I'll double check that, I'll make a phone call
