    Si Engine Code

    it's d16a8

    but is this the same in the USA?

    i'm just having a look at some internal components and dont know what to search for on www.ebay.com

    also, could someone tell me which internals parts are interchangable between the vti and Si engine?


    I searched but maybe didn't search good enough maybe..

    in the US its called the d16a9(i think) and zero sohc parts are interchangable.

    i'll do a search for it now

    are the zc parts interchangeable with any other dohc engine?

    the d16a1 for example?

    Si in USA = SOHC VTEC.

    Si in AUS = DOHC non-VTEC.

    hope im not mistaken.. but isnt the SI in the US the DOHC VTEC?

    or is that the SIR?
