    Is a b18a tranmission on a b16a wise/reliable?

I am just doing some investigation on b16a's in LS integras. And i was just wondering if it is wise and/or reliable to match a b16a engine to the LS's AUDM b18a gearbox.

Would that cause any dramas? Any downfalls or anything to look for with this type of mod?

    thanks

thanks for that mate.. so the b16 box has closer ratios..

what about reliability and strength.. so is the ratios the only downfall?

lol I have my ls box on my b18c and its so gay lol, the box seems to be holding up alright, like before i did the engine swap the box was crunching if i shifted to fast into 2nd, but it hasn't gotten any worse even when reving to 9K rpms and changin only crunches if i shift to quickly to 2nd and that's it, other than that no problems and its been nearly a year i have had the engine now.. but again if you can get the b16a box then go for it, you'll regret staying with the ls once you wanna thrash your car some..
