    Chipped p08 ecu or VAFC

    mods are intake and headers...

    not sure which one to get for my d15b...

    what are the pros and cons of each..

    i can get the chipped ecu for around 160

    not sure on the VAFC prices yet

    AFAIK there is no such thing as a "spoon chipped" ECU...only stand-alone units for B series motors etc.

    Id be looking at some piggy back management since you are running stock cam and head etc too ?

    That is NOT a "Spoon" chipped ECU/chip. IT is some aftermarket chip with a fake spoon sticker on it. No doubt , IMO it is some cheap chip which requires soldering to an existing ECU - and modifies / screws fuel maps and ignition iming etc. Please dont get it !

    Didn't realise the ones on ebay were all fake.

    Ok well should I get a chipped ecu or VAFC.

    There are other solutions around for your ECU it can be setup to run Hondata S100,Please PM a Hondata dealer for details and prices.

    Yeah hondata may be out of my price range at the moment.

    I spoke to a guy who chips ecu's and he said that he can provide me with some preprogrammed chips, and then alter my ecu so that i can swap chips easily

    I can do this also.

    And I have all the Spoon and other programs which I can provide.

    hard to tell, but that doesnt look genuine to me

    i'm assuming this is a genuine chip?

    the guy claims it is genuine...how can i verify this?
