    Chuck: Yes, very very disapointed.
Jim: Shortening both standard k20a shafts to fit for now. Will end up running billet axles sooner or later. Will give you a call in a few weeks about parts and a few other things.

hey mate. a guy over on k20a.org has figured out a way of using the stock axles.. even for the 32mm... the only problem is its for an EG, but with your car it may also be possible, it'd be worth looking into anyway. This would be alot cheaper yet just as strong as some of the billet axles.

the way it is done is by custom fitting b-series axles to k-series axles.

Heres the DIY (very simple task aswell!)..

And heres the guys thread explaining about it.. http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1594

Maybe u can ask in the thread whether it would be possible on your model civic. Its entirely upto u mate. Just trying to help out.. good luck.

    Paul.

Dave: Hondata K-pro is already fitted to the ECU (in Melbourne by James?) and will be sent back up here as we speak. I saw you got 137fwkw out of a totally stock k20 except kpro! How much power should we be looking at with I/H/E mods?

Paul: thanks for the web sites. First thing we will be doing is mixing and matching the axles to see if we get can get them to fit. If theres no luck there we will get them machined to fit. If that's not an option we'll have to go strait to billet ones!
