    TIme for a service

    think its about time to service my ek1, i'll be changing all fluids, filters, sparkies maybe leads, and brake pads.

    Whats every ones suggestions types and brands? DOnt really have the cash to get the stuff from Honda tho.

    honda stuff isnt that expensive man.


    i get FEO(honda oem oil) cheaper than the BS castrol i used to get.

    go get a quote for all honda stuff, it wont be that bad. its all i use(cept oil filter) and all id use.

    ur manual also recommends some NGK plugs to use, there r $4 each lol.

    buy the plugs from repco though. they are a about $3 extra per plug from honda

    mate works at repco

    what's your recomendations for brake pads?

    i do some times give the lil ek1 a bit of a work out

    cheap but effective: endless vn8500.


    or if u want dirt cheap go bendix or something i guess.

    As for OEM stuff, stick with OEM transmission fluid, powersteering fluid and coolant (it comes premixed from Honda). OEM FEO is also good but if you want you can go with something else.
