Yeh, like I was saying, and I did end up missing my train. You don't need the rubber seal, but of course then you want the bonnet to close as much as possible for obvious reasons. Theres not much you can do if you cant adjust the latch anymore, unless you modify the latch.

All bonnets fit different, different quality etc.
