Anyone here swapped a A8/ZC into an ED3?

Not true. Earlier D series engined cars use a front mount too ontop of the usual 5 others - so factor this in IF you are buying a newer ZC/d16a8 out of say a EG civic. Also will you use hydraulic or cable gearbox ? And dont forget too about changing a carb'd layout to EFI too - need efi fuel tank + wiring + ECU + other bits n pieces...

well all ED/EF have the front gearbox mounting in place..
so unless were talking about calble----> hydro conversion

you'll still be using a TEG/ED running cable gearbox..

so in that case yes the mounts are not needed

the ZC front engine mount had to be changed to fit this ZC into a 2nd gen CRX.
