    {Euro} Rattle from sunroof

Anyone had a rattle coming from their sunroof?
Mines an 05 and its becoming annoying, only noticeable when its fully closed.

About to go in for 10k service so will have them look into it.

I have the same issue....only done 2,000k's. Only happends if I have had the tilt up then close it. To get rid of it I open the full roof slightly then close it.

I had a look at the positioning of the guide bolt that runs along the " slippery dip" track (sorry dont know what it's called) and the window sits in a slightly diff position after closing tilt as it does after closing full roof.

I had the same noise from sunroof too. it happens mainly when going up and down the driveway ramps, or on rough road surface..

If I fully shut the inner panel (so I can't see the glass roof part), then there is no noise...

I found apllying silicon spray on the rubber seal can help to solve the problem too.

Also could be the rubber seal not fitting snugly. Why not give some rubber and trim protectant a try to see if it dampens it and prevents the rattling?

Same Issue as well and it only developed a few hundred after the 1k service, at 2k now so have will have to put up with it til the 10k. Good to know its common though! As long as Honda fix it properly!

    Thumbs up

I had the same issue after 100k's of buying my 2005 Luxury, I got it fixed at my first service though. Apparently one of the rubber seals in the sunroof subsystem wasn't sealing properly and wasn't fitted properly, they replaced this seal and I haven't had any issues since! They had to take the roof trim off to get to the problem.
