Thread: clutch question

    got a friend who is selling his clutch which he brought but didnt get the chance to use it, he said it's for a civic 88-91 uk vt, i've got a jdm ef9 91 sir basically the same but the japanese version, the part numbers he gave me were cover plate - 22300-PR3-020, clutch bearing - 22810-PX5-003, Clutch plate - 3F9E14 also the cover plate has 18 teeth and the clutch plate is 22cm will this fit onto my car?

    No... Though both are cable clutch boxes...
    Yours is a B-series & your friend's clutch is from a D-series
    So, if you get far enough to try, you'll find that your input shaft won't fit into the friction disc... Also, it's also doubtful the clutch cover would bolt up to your flywheel...

    his engine shouldnt be a d series cause the uk vt is equipped with the b16a engine but at 150bhp compared to its japanese at 160bhp correct somebody if am wrong even though am new.
