    What do you guys think?

    Hey mate,

Hanny's sounds like a good deal. However with most services you get what you pay for.

I'd be interested in finding out EXACTLY what gets replaced in a timing belt change by Hannys. I'm no mechanic, but if you don't do all that is required (changing seals, etc) then obviously parts cost less and labour time is reduced.

If someone has Hanny's number and can get a list of what he carries out in a timing belt change, that would be great for a comparision. Otherwise, comparing prices is just empty talk.

    Think about it his way

Your Mec is quoting about half the cost that Hannys charged to re-built my whole engine

So $400 is not that bad for a 100.000l Service and thats if they change everything (all fliters/pumps and so on)

    But $700 is mad

OMG - another f*cking noob with NFI!!!!

FYI, Robert who owns Hannys has well over 30 years experience servicing Hondas - in fact you can go there and maintain your warentee. He is THE most knowledgable Honda mechanic in NSW if not in Australia and can usually get things sorted fast.

I've known him for over 20 years now as well as most of his mechanics and have never had an issue. In this case, you have absolutely no clue - he's inexpensive and provides quality service. If you want expensive with sh*t service then I suggest that you look for a centre with a letter "H" on it's sigh (no names dropped of course).

    TY, come again.
