The EH6 is the del sol with the d16 in it, however, there was never an eh6 in the usdm market with a d16a8

well, please tell me the engine code of the EH6 D16??? All you do is say it is incorrect. If you do own a USDM EH6 please take a picture of the VIN plate. It has the engine code underneath the vin.

Also, according to the vin o page 2 it is not an EG4 but an EG3.

there were three eh6 codes listed, only two were correct. For 93-95, the EH6 was the del Sol Si with the d16z6. For 96-97, the EH6 was the Si with the d16y8 and the S with the d16y7.

Thank you, but according to my info did the automatic and manual Si have different engine codes. As far as I know the AT has the Z6 and the MT the A8. Can you also provide the HP for the USDM models?

the automatic and manual engines were the same. My si is manual and has a d16z6 in it.

The d16z6 is rated at 125hp @ 6600, 106 ftlbs @ 5200
the d16y8 is rated at 127hp @ 6600, 107 ftlbs @ 5500
the d16y7 is rated at 106hp @ 6200, 103 ftlbs @ 4600
