I have EK4 b4, i do prefer a Jazz as it is a lot more comfort, save fuel, more practical and etc..... as EK4 is just not quick enough if u really serious in track. Get a Jazz and save up for an DC2R for track use.

plus the jazz looks cute

even though Jazz may not be a good base for performance, the main reason that I'm moding my jazz is to improve the overall drivability of the car. I don't dream about dragging against others, but just want to be able to pick up speed more smoother with less effort, especially in city traffic or out of an corner......

Jazz is easy to drive already, how much improvement r u talking about??? to me modding a Jazz is a waste of $$$ (Exterior modding is acceptable). Less effort out of a corner??get good sussy! but once u have a good sussy you'll want more speed...then it goes on & on, end of the day just get a DC2R instead...

Nice post.
Basically, a Jazz is an economy car. The VTi model just has a tad more power than the non vtec. It is never going to be a track car unless you poor a absolute fortune to it. A DC2R is one of the ultimate honda track cars, for its price range, altho it may be out of yours. Concider a Integra VTiR or a Prelude VTiR (4th gen). Both of those are getting on in age, but if your really serious about making it a track car, are alot more suitable, and if maintained, shouldn't have too many problems.

The jazz is no different than early 90's civic Si/Vti really.
the different between gli and vti is more than 20kw if i remember correctly and having driven both its a big diff.
Track car??? Where's tony when you need him? im quite sure he had very good laptimes in his jazz
-
but the fact is
if Tony sat on a dc2r, it will be so much more faster than he was in a Jazz

easy there big fella...... each to their own, right?
people mod their cars for their own reasons..... i DO feel the car response better, I DO feel the car pulls out of a corner better, i DO feel the car picks up speed smoother..... after i spent my money to mod my jazz..... sure.... jazz is easy to drive out of the show room...... but there is always way to improve it.... either for looks or performance..... sure DC2R would be nice to begin with for performance mod, but no everyone is able to pull out 40k to get a car.....
so once again, each to their own......
no flame needed......
cheers....

i own and mod a jazz because thats my preference, for the price of my jazz i could have got 2x dc2r's, so whats your point?
and for your information the jazz responds well to mods, especially of the chasis type (lowering, bars etc) and until you own one you wouldnt know
