Jazz are very nice cars for daily commuting. If you want a car to do just that, then I'd go for the Honda Jazz or Toyota Yaris. Good luck.
Its a hot hatch when im driving it, thankyou very much.. and having gav in the car screaming at me does add a few ponies too.. lol.

But in all honestly, although its probably better than a Getz, it is a total waste of money doing 'performance enhancing' mods on a jazz- you will not get your money's worth.

pleasurable drive, in what way? its all subjective. Every person that has driven my jazz has said that they wished it had more guts(except the 318i driver) to match the gearbox which had them green in envy, one drives a dc5r, one drives a current model 325i and other 2002 318i and said they've never come across as enjoyable gearbox.

But if the jazz can run a 16.5 with cat-back exhaust and intake then i dont see it as exactly slow in its class just cause its not sizzling out of the factory doesnt exactly mean anything.

but what is your moneys worth? time slip? just like nerds with their overlocking scores.

Im quite happy with my mods and would like to do more but i know what im gonna buy next will have more potential with $$$ spend but running costs will be more expensive.

But what i've tested on my jazz over 2yrs ive gotten enjoyment out of suprising people who think that the jazz is just a slow car

But you'll always find something thats faster than my car and quite frankly faster than any car on the road and exactly why im buying a car with a bent engine and with about 4 grand ill get it into high 12's/very low 13's easily but not to brag and the car will probly never see a strip but i know it'll be capable of it...

Sorry to doubt you but could you tell me what mods for 4k is going to get a jazz into 12s???? And what exactly do you mean by 'bent engine'?

4 cylinder cars running one bar of boost would get into the 12s if theyr lucky

I dont think muli is talking about the Jazz, bent engine is a V shaped engines, rather then our inline engines.

Did I say a Jazz was slow?????????????????????????????
Please tell me if I did????

Yeah ok driving a car is a subjective feeling, but a car that responds to the driver input is another. I will leave it there. No point arguing
Btw, muli just for curiosity have you ever driven a "performance" car in your lifetime?

R33 GTS-T, VU SS ute, MY99 WRX, 79 Porsche SC and TT supra and DC5R and HSV R8 but what do you see as a "performance" car what about a renault clio sport, mx5? From that list my pick would be the porsche my favourite as it was rough as anything but extremely enjoyable and kept you on your toes at all times and thats the list of cars i drove before i bought my jazz excluding the hsv and DC5R.

Mod, i think now its a good time to close this thread..... we have people here in the Jazz thread to say how shit and worthless the jazz are..... i don't think this thread is goign anywhere....

we all appreciate what cars we got..... if we are happy to spend money on it, so be it.... jsut like may be its worth it for me to buy a $3k TAG watch, but others may not agree...... doesn't mean that they should impose their ideas on me.....

look, lets just call it a day...... temperature is raising here as we speak..... its going to be an allout flame war.....

Since thread is posted in the Jazz Section, let the owners of the jazz to respond to this thread: Is Jazz a good base for modification? OK?

all you other guys are more than welcome to comment or flame if its in the Lounge....

    enough said.....

hope everyone here just get along, gosh, don't treat here like a amusement park....
