yeah u can burn stuff onto dvd and watch it

but theres different ways of doing that

u can convert them all to .vob files and then the disk is like a normal DVD u get from the video shop or u can just burn the AVI and MPEG files straight onto the dvd and use it as a 4.7gig data disk

i know it can play dvd video disks. not sure if it'll play dvd data disks. or if the deck has a avi viewer built in. i guess i'll just burn a dvd and try.
