wondering if any1 has this head unit

and also what sort of stuff can be played. im just wondering if its possibly to burn avi and mpegs onto a dvd-r and play that thru the head unit. or would it all have to get converted to dvd format.

any1 got this unit?

I know someone that recons he d/l porn from the net and puts it on a dvd and watches it in the car with this deck. If there is any truth behind that.... i got no idea

yeah u can burn stuff onto dvd and watch it

but theres different ways of doing that

u can convert them all to .vob files and then the disk is like a normal DVD u get from the video shop or u can just burn the AVI and MPEG files straight onto the dvd and use it as a 4.7gig data disk

i know it can play dvd video disks. not sure if it'll play dvd data disks. or if the deck has a avi viewer built in. i guess i'll just burn a dvd and try.

Yeah my brother has this unit in his car. You can't burn avi and mpeg files directly onto a DVD as it doesn't have DIVX. You can convert those files into DVD format and play them or even convert them to VCD.

This unit can play gigaMP3's. Meaning you can burn all your MP3's onto a DVD and it will read it.
