funny noise

theres a funny noise thats started since i changed my cv joint, it sumtimes stops when i depress the clutch
its getting quite loud... my mechanic reckoned it was coz my 1st gear is worn out... but i can hear it when im in other gears too... the noise sorta sounds like its from something thats spinning too

theres a diy listed around here by wyn i believe, though i may be wrong

can u hear the ticking slow down when u depress the clutch?

it could also be the CVs might be the wrong length and are pushing in the box too far.
Did you get original honda CVs or some aftermarket ones?

um they r not honda ones... looks like sum dodgy brand? when i depress the clutch it sumtimes slows down, i can hear it in all gears most of the time except for reverse, its quieter in fourth and fifth... i think its so loud when i drive past ppl are looking at my car coz it sounds weird?!
