    Question what size??

    hi guys and gal

    gonna upgrade my front speakers in the civic EG hatch and just wondering what is the biggest size that i can fit in there without having to cut or modify anything

    5 1/2 inches, but if u drill new holes then 6 1/2 fits in easily.
    mounting depth of 50mm, any more and u'll need spacers (which are $5)

    i thgouth they wewre 6 at the front?
    i fitted benjamins speakers jaycvar 6.5 splits, but had to use custom spacers as the speaker was too big.

    and 6inch without..

    6.5inch, you'll need custom spacers

    so the stock speakers are 4" or 4.5"???

    i have got 6.5" focal splits in my doors and the tweeter ot the top of the door

    ever tried modifying the oringal spacer?
    just make got a hot knife. or somethign sharp and make the hole bigger.
    i did that on duesta car on the forum.
    but yet his was a dc2.

    Should be able to fit a 6inch after removing the bracket. But if you want to use the bracket then you're stuck with a 4inch.
