    Acura TSX A-Spec Concept

    Acura TSX A-Spec Concept
This luxury sedan gets some classy upgrades for SEMA.
    by Justin Kaehler

November 4, 2005 - Though most of Honda's focus was on the all-new Civic Si, sister company Acura brought some big guns out to the SEMA show as well. The "main" luxury-performance car on hand was the TSX A-Spec concept. The modifications done to this sedan are very subtle; we're pretty sure that the untrained eye wouldn't be able to tell what was done to this car. That's just the way we like our performance rides.

Some people may be able to tell that the TSX is now sporting some 19-inch "shoes" (wrapped in sticky Pirelli rubber), but only die-hard performance/tuning fans will be able to tell that this silver sedan is sporting an aggressive body kit. An ultra-strong yet ultra-light carbon-kevlar aero kit has been applied to all sides of the car. Not only does this kit widen the car by 20 millimeters, the front and rear fascias actually improve airflow and downforce. The track-tested A-Spec suspension and massive Brembo brakes on this A-Spec concept should undoubtedly improve the car's lap times.

Looks hot as.. but i honestly dont like the exhaust arrangment. I love the separated twin exhaust on the current euros. that arangement looks like that gay lancer bodykit.

yep, agree with 95_CVC... can't say i like the exhaust... and the rear bumber... I would love those brakes tho!
Also the 'white-ish' dash doesn't sit well with me either.

I've just noticed that if you look closely at the pictures, the dark grey sections of the body kit (the front corner splits, sections of side skirt, decklid spoiler and under spoiler insert) all look to be carbon fibre.

I liked the original Geneva concept which had an integrated grille and bumper, rather than the chrome standard trim.

I've seen those pics before.. but I must say again that it's the BEST silver paint I've ever seen..... almost mirror like.. but would show finger prints like no tomorrow.
