if u have 17" then 35 profile tyres will give u an exact rolling diameter as ur stockies, u dont need to get a engineering cert for ur rims man just go to ur mechanic with them on and ask if he'll clear it, if hes a knob he'll ask u to put the stockies back on then he'll clear it, do this then put ur rims back on, its not worth getting engineering cert for rims, u'll only ever get defected max once a year for rims and u can just clear it with a $28 pink slip.

no hooning, just cops on the north coast of nsw!! ive found out that they will engineer em cause its only a 10mm increase over standard in height!! but..... hav 2 remove my super low springs b4 he'll certify em due to the fact that it scrubs btw, ive got 205/40/17's. with 215/45/17's he said no cause it put's the instruments out by 8%. i've answered my own question, but hope it helps someone else. cheers guys!!
