    Howdy fellas,

Well the JDM ITR spec headers arrived today and i noticed that there is a sealant used between the gasket and the headers themselves. Any ideas what sealant to use guys? Also, do i use this sealant between the gasket and the actual head of the motor as well? Another question, is there a dont gasket think I need for down at the cat? It might actually already be on them but I am unsure what this donut looks like/how thick it is etc. Also will using stock bolts off my gsi be fine as no bolts came with the headers.

    Thanks all,

    Javed

U dont put sealant on the header sideof ur ITR headers. U use a metal gasket, and thats it. U can usually reuse ur old one, depends on how banged up it is -- mine was fine though even after 130k. Just clean it with some acetone or something similar. As for the high-temp seleant -- u can use that a replacement for a metal gasket used on the end of the header - where it meats ur cat or flex piping.
